Cement Curing Autoclave Part No. 800.69
DESCRIPTION: The Curing Autoclave simulates pressure and temperature conditions for curing cement samples in accordance with API test procedures. After a specified curing time, set cement cubes are removed for crush testing for determining compressive-strength development.
OPERATION: Two-Cube Model - An Autoclave pressure vessel is inserted into an automatic temperature-controlled heating jacket and pressurized with a hand-operated hydraulic pump. An automatic bleed-off valve mounted atop the autoclave assembly prevents exces-sive pressure buildup within the curing vessel. This model cures two single-cube speci-mens at a time in the vessel.
NOTE: A 3,000-psi (20.7-MPa) relief valve is standard equipment on this unit.
